Product Features

High-temperature resistance

The softening point reaches as high as approximately 1600℃, and it can operate stably for extended periods at temperatures above 1000℃.

Wide light transmission range

Ultraviolet to near-infrared (approximately 200 nm – 2400 nm)

High chemical stability

Acid-resistant and resistant to most chemical corrosives (except hydrofluoric acid and hot phosphoric acid).

High mechanical strength

Tensile strength is superior to that of ordinary glass optical fibers.

Higher cost

The raw materials have high purity requirements, the drawing process is complex, and the price is relatively expensive.

Glass fusion optical fiber

Low temperature resistance

The softening point is typically below 900℃, and the operating temperature generally does not exceed 450℃.

Narrower light transmission range

Primarily in the visible to near-infrared region (approximately 400 nm – 1700 nm)

Good flexibility

Easy to bend and process, suitable for complex wiring.

Lower cost

The raw materials and production process are relatively simple, offering high cost performance.

Wide variety of options

Optical properties can be flexibly designed by adjusting the glass composition.

Relatively weak chemical corrosion resistance.

Performance may degrade over the long term when exposed to humid or acidic/alkaline environments.
